Superb looking 986 Boxster 3. 2 S in the rare colour Polar Silver, with complementary Metropole Blue interior and hood. HS02RWZ has covered just 53, 050 miles from new, and was specified with a few choice options - 18" SportDesign split rim BBS alloy wheels (in amazing original condition), Litronic xenon headlights, PSM Porsche Stability Management, BOSE sound system, along with a few cosmetic options that really lift the interior ambience - centre console and roll over bars painted in Polar Silver, Porsche crests embossed on headrests, and aluminium inlays in the gear knob and handbrake lever.
The service history is impeccable up to 2010 and 45, 333 miles, with 8 Porsche OPC stamps in the service record, accompanied by service invoices on file. Since 2011 the car has covered very few miles in the hands of just one fastidious owner, who had Minor services and brake fluid changes done by a local specialist in 2013 at 50, 440 miles and in 2018 at 52, 870 miles. We will prepare the car for sale with a Major service, new spark plugs and auxiliary drive belt, a brake fluid change and full inspection. One of the nozzles in a headlamp washer needs replacing (this is a common issue, as in cold weather water can freeze in the nozzle and crack the plastic, then the pressure of the washer pump fires the nozzle out of its housing the next time the washers are used!).
On the road, HS02RWZ drives beautifully, with supple suspension and direct responses from the steering, brakes and throttle. The powerful 252bhp flat-six provides excellent performance, the handling and roadholding still the benchmark for sports cars.
