motodrome offer for sale this superbly-provenanced, low mileage Subaru Impreza Turbo (GC8) Saloon, finished in Bright Red with two-tone cloth sports trim.
The iconic GC8-model Impreza Turbos are getting ever-harder to find in standard, unmodified condition, and this one, having covered just 79800 miles from new in the hands of just 2 private owners from new, is a rarity indeed.
It has the usual UK Impreza Turbo specification, including rear spoiler, 15in alloys (shod with a matching set of Avon ZV5 tyres), sports seats etc. It even has the original Subaru radio/ cassette. The only modification we’re aware of is 2 additional driving lights underneath the front bumper, and it has a decent immobiliser.
History-wise it’s about as good as you’ll find. Obviously it’s an original UK-supplied car not an import, and, as above, it’s had just 2 owners from new, and the last lady owner had had it since 2003.
We have the original service book with 17 Subaru main dealer stamps in it, a selection of bills including the sales invoice from 2003 when it was sold to the last owner by a Subaru main dealer at 37500m, and old MOT’s back to 2005.
It was dry-stored for 10 years 2010-20 which goes some way to explaining the condition, originality, and mileage. In October 2020 it came out of storage and was fully recommissioned at 78080 miles including
• Oil and filter service, and coolant change
• Fuel filter
• Brake service
• New radiator and silicon hoses
• New cambelt, auxiliary belt and PAS belt
• New battery
