We are looking for a new custodian for this wonderful Aston Martin DB4, Series 5. 29 FLK was produced in April 1963 as a five series model with a four speed overdrive transmission and is a very well known DB4 in the Aston fraternity, being owned in the late 70s and early 80’s by Victor Gauntlett. There is a letter in the cars very large history file from Victor reminiscing on when, with the AMOC, he took the car to Dubai in 1981 and drove the car in an AMOC race during the Dubai Grand Prix. The car is probably one of the reasons Victor ended up so involved the with Aston martin company.
Since his ownership the car has had a number of owners including a member o the House of Lords for many years. Throughout the cars history it has been serviced and maintained by RS Williams at no expense spared, with Bodylines and Spraytec carrying out the restoration works. It is finished to its original spec of ‘Midnight blue’, with fawn leather. Today, the car remains in concourse winning condition and must be seen to be appreciated.
