As a specialist in Airhead BMWs, it’s unusual for me to carry others marques………unless its rather special !
This is a UK from new, 1958, pre unit, Triumph 500 Speedtwin, and as a rider who was reared on Bantam’s and Bonneville’s, I simply couldn’t resist buying it. I’d gone to view a BMW R90S from a well respected restorer of the marque, and ended up coming away with 2 x R90S, and this beautiful Triumph !
The bike is, I’m told, close to nut and bolt correct, but has been restored to ride, not just to look pretty. Infact I’m told by the restorer that it has attended the Colombres rally in Northern Spain twice in the last few years, and without issue. A matching engine and frame number bike, complete with the original fold out card log book. Only 5 owners in almost 70 years, including the supplying dealer, and two brothers.

I’m sure you’ll agree, more than competitively priced for a machine of this quality, but even at this price, YOUR classic, especially Airhead BMW, considered in part exchange.
