1949 MG TC - uprated with 1500cc engine
Smartly finished in British Racing Green, this attractive MG TC was first registered in Leicester in January 1949, though production likely took place in late 1948.
Believed to have been restored around 25 years ago, it remains a well-presented and enjoyable driver’s car, enhanced by a number of carefully considered mechanical upgrades.
1500cc engine with twin 1. 5” carburettors
VW steering box for improved handling
Ford differential – stronger and more durable than the original
Sports exhaust system delivering a satisfying, throaty note
Electric cooling fan to ensure reliable running in modern traffic
The hood and side screens are in good, serviceable condition, and a full tonneau cover is included.
