The Appeal
The Series 3 E-Type was built as a test-bed for Jaguar’s new V12. In the process it became the car it was arguably always meant to be: a smooth, comfortable and spacious GT.
This OTS was amongst the last built. It spent its life in the USA before returning to the UK in 2018. Classically finished in British Racing Green with biscuit leather and matching roof, it is a very fine example that sporting drivers will note has the 4spd manual box.
The vendor acquired it a couple of years ago. Recent work has included a full service with attention to the wiring in June 2024 and then new rear brake calipers and pads in August. It comes to market with the transparency of a lengthy voluntary MOT to August 2025. There are no advisories.
The Series 3 E-Type is the most usable and comfortable of the many models. This great-looking car is perfect for weekend drives and longer tours.
