The 1992 Porsche 944 S2 Cabriolet marks the final year of the 944 line, featuring a 3.0-litre 16-valve engine that was the largest four-cylinder of its era. Delivering up to 211hp, it paired refined performance with a high-quality convertible conversion performed by the American Sunroof Company (ASC) in partnership with Porsche.

With its aerodynamic ‘Turbo-style’ front end and near-perfect 50/50 weight distribution, the S2 Cabriolet is celebrated for its exceptional balance and daily usability. This model represents a peak in the 944’s evolution, offering a sophisticated open-top driving experience just before the transition to the Porsche 968.
