Molyneux must have recognised this late 1303 Karmann Cabriolet as a future investment, cosseting the car and all its factory accessories away in dry storage until his death in 2023. The Beetle was then acquired by its current keeper, whom in his younger years had been a VW New Car Salesperson. In fact, he had the record for the highest volume of UK Beetle sales during the late '70s.
