The Appeal
Characterised by the distinctive central headlamp which earned the car its nickname, the Rover P4 75 'Cyclops' was inspired by American Studebakers in an effort to inject some transatlantic charm into Rover's post-war range.
This 1951 example is especially noteworthy as a rare factory left-hand drive variant, with the current owner aware of only about a dozen such models in existence. Having been delivered new to Switzerland and remaining there throughout its life, this P4 offers the discerning collector a chance to own a piece of Rover history with interesting provenance, including its appearance in the Swiss TV series 'Lüthi & Blanc'.
With just two former registered keepers and decades of indoor storage, this Cyclops presents a solid foundation for preservation or restoration.
