The Daimler V8 might be an unfairly overlooked model in the Jaguar MK2 dynasty, but that V8 mated up to the relaxed automatic gearbox is something of a hidden gem. Opulent in its presentation, the Daimlers fluted grille, tasteful furnishings, and the unmistakable body shape are just a few reasons why these 1960s icons are still well regarded. Towards the end of the car's production run, the factory revised the cars equipment and fittings, adding reclining leather seats and extra interior padding. The V8-250 exterior is also characterised by its "slimline" bumpers, over-riders and optional wire wheels.
The refined driving experience of this 1969 Daimler V8 250, combined with the authentically original cabin is enhanced by the useful retro-fitting of the upgraded assisted power steering, stainless steel exhaust and electric ignition. It comes with photographic evidence of an engine rebuild, and three decades’ worth of maintenance and upkeep invoices.
