The Appeal
The late 60s saw Triumph return to the British sports formula with a renewed fervour. It was a car of evolution rather than evolution, with mechanical fuel injection and familiar styling. It was far from the most refined car; but that's not what the loyalists wanted. This was a communicative, reactive speedster that felt like it kept a direct relationship between driver and road.
Having undergone a body-off restoration in the mid-1990s and further bodywork approximately a decade ago, this TR6 has been in the owner's hands for some 30 years, consistently garaged throughout its tenure. Everything is still in fine order - we particularly note the extensively refurbished interior, and a recently rebuilt overdrive.
The British roadster remains a unique language all of its own, and we think this one is a great example that's bound to charm any enthusiast.
