The Appeal
The Triumph TR6C captured the hearts of American riders in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Known as the "Desert Sled" in its American specification, this was the same model famously ridden by Steve McQueen in the Six Days Trial events of the 1960, and is often praised as one of the greatest British mounts ever to hit the market.
The stance, the distinctive high pipes and rugged off-road capability all shone - and if it wasn't for the rise of the Japanese motorcycles merely a few years later, it could have been a strong blueprint for the future.

This TR6C benefits from a documented history dating back to its original dispatch to Baltimore in 1970, and presents in very good condition throughout. With Boyer electronic ignition for reliable starting, a recently refurbished front end, and a strong, oil-tight engine, it's ready and waiting to go - and will seduce the lucky new buyer in short order.
