The Appeal
There’s a good reason why quality TR6s are in demand right now. These very usable, characterful classics were the last of a certain type of brawny British two-seater. They were innovative too, pioneering new-fangled fuel injection to deliver 150bhp.
This ‘72 UK market ‘CP’ TR6 is classically finished in red and sports its distinctive deep dish steel wheels. It was restored around 30 years ago to a high standard - the vendor describes the work as ‘nut and bolt’ - and the engine was rebuilt by TR Enterprises in 2000. The fuel injection system was refurbished in 201. In 2024 the car received a new clutch, gearbox and overdrive rebuild and a full service. It comes to market with the added reassurance of a voluntary MOT valid to end of November 2025 with no advisories.
The car comes to market with a hard top, spare wood-rimmed wheel and set of Minilite-style alloys.
This is a really smart example of one of Britain’s best classic two-seaters. That reassuring lengthy MOT is an added bonus for buyers.
