The Appeal
Take MG's all-time greatest roadster, stick a fixed roof on it and give it a fastback. Guaranteed success story, really, and the MGB GT was exactly that. Its standard soft-top model was no slouch when it came to looks, but the GT offered a sleek, almost continental slant thanks to the work of Pininfarina, and was more versatile for the British weather, too!
This particular 1976 car is something special. Over the course of 16 years - between 2003 and 2019 - it's been subject to an impressive restoration, costing in excess of £30,000, and resulting in a car that the vendor observes is incredibly close to a true, factory-fresh MGB GT.
The car was completely re-shelled during this process and has been driven very little since the work was completed. It's now ready and waiting to be appreciated by the lucky new owner for a staggeringly low reserve for what you will be getting.
