The Appeal
The Mulsanne S was Bentley’s first step towards differentiating itself from its Rolls-Royce cousins. Evolved from the earlier Mulsanne, it got firmer suspension, Turbo R wheels and interior and, from 1990, quad headlights.
Just 419 were built in RHD. These cars are a wise choice for those who like the handling and rarity of the early Turbo models, but without the complexity. This Royal Blue car is a low mileage, well-maintained example that has been looked after by specialists like P&A Wood and Hooper throughout its life. Recent work includes a new battery, tyres and attention to the woodwork.
The vendor acquired the car in 2024 and has used it sparingly for family trips as part of a small collection. It has been carefully dry stored with a trickle charger between uses. With lengthy MOT adding reassurance, this is a really tidy and smartly presented example of these majestic saloons.
