The Appeal
Few cars shout ‘starter classic’ quite like this remarkably preserved Mk3 Fiesta. It’s the kind of car that any new enthusiast wants to find and would fit right in at the 2026 Festival of the Unexceptional.
Yet this car is really quite exceptional. It remained with its single lady driver throughout its life, first as a company car and then as personal wheels. The 26,811 miles are verified by the service history, MOT records, and the general condition.
The car remains factory standard, including ‘Bonus’ spec wheel trims, fabric seats and even the Ford radio cassette system. The car has only covered 7,000 miles or so in the last 28 years, but comes to market with a fresh service including oil, filter, spark plugs, battery and alternator belt. Added reassurance is provided by the MOT, which runs to January 2027 with no advisories.
The vendor says:
“A really nice starter classic. Certainly not a concourse example but extremely tidy with only light signs of wear and tear on the bodywork.”
