The Appeal
Before the 4WD Integrale there was the Delta HF Turbo, the lairy two-wheel-drive alternative with the DNA and cosmetics of its rally-going twin. The final cars got fuel injection, Integrale looks and a power boost to 140bhp from the 1.6L ‘Lampredi’ twin cam.
This HF Turbo IE is one of the last built. With its 2014 respray in yellow, it certainly looks like an Integrale, but offers a more accessible way into similar dynamics. Fittingly it has been extensively upgraded to rally specification, which you can see in the photos. The endor tells us that the mechanicals are ‘highly modified’ and the interior has been upgraded to rally specification with a roll cage and figure-hugging sport seats.
The car is registered for the road and was MOT’d up to May 2025 - the last test had no advisories. Whether you reserve this for shows and the road or push it in a competitive direction, it looks a very tempting and rare introduction to one of Lancia’s best rally-themed saloons.
