Left-hand drive 3.0-litre V6 SR5 specification imported from Japan
Fuel system recently overhauled with new injectors and refurbished fuel tank, we are told
Fitted with raised suspension and front-mounted winch
The vendor states this is very rare to find in this condition
The Appeal
The second-generation Toyota Hilux pickup has earned a formidable reputation for ruggedness and dependability, and the 3.0-litre V6 SR5 variant is among the more sought-after specifications, offering considerably more grunt than the four-cylinder alternatives. Left-hand drive examples with this powertrain are an uncommon sight on UK roads, making this a distinctive proposition for enthusiasts and collectors of Japanese utility vehicles.
This particular example was imported from Japan, and the vendor reports that it is largely free from the rust and corrosion that so often afflicts vehicles of this era in the UK. Finished in Raptor paint with a load liner in the bed, it has been equipped for more demanding use with raised suspension and a front-mounted winch. Recent mechanical attention has reportedly included an overhaul of the fuel system with new injectors and a refurbished fuel tank. untitled-08437.jpg15.78 MB

Japanese domestic market vehicles are right hand drive. As this is left hand drive and stated to have been imported from Japan, I assume it was previously imported to Japan from somewhere else. Can the history be clarified? Assume limited documentation means there is no history tracing back to when and where it was manufactured and originaly sold?
