The Appeal
The V12 DB7 may draw the uninitiated, but canny enthusiasts know to seek out one of the rare early 3.2L supercharged straight six models. Equipped with the virtually unburstable AJ6 engine and a supercharger that delivers a characterful whine and a potent 335bhp, these cars are a great choice if spirited driving and higher miles are your thing.
Just 3,000 of these cars were built. Thanks to their usability, many tend to have high mileages and be in a relatively poor state. Not this one. Finished in tasteful Toro red with a two-tone cream and burgundy interior, it is a highly preserved car that has covered a mere 72,000 miles.
The current keeper bought it in 2018 from a relative, who had owned it since 2007. Both have covered few miles, which explains the condition of the exterior and interior. The condition of tell tale signs of care like the driver’s bolster, footwell carpets, boot carpet and alloy wheels are all present well.
The car is factory standard save for an upgraded Aston Martin radio. The a/c needs a regas but that is an easy fix. With advisory-free MOT to July 2026, this looks like a great choice for GT enthusiasts who know a hidden gem when they see one.
The vendor says:
“This is a very reluctant sale because of family connections to the car, but l have only driven the car 2000 miles in the last seven years!”
