Highlights
- Desirable 250bhp S model in Diamond black
- Factory standard with no modifications
- Full service and new radiators 1,500 miles ago
- Well kept car in great colour scheme
The Appeal
The original Boxster was exceptional, channeling the ethos of the 911 into a sports car with an entirely different character. It was so good that buyers quickly demand more power. That came in the form of the visually identical S. A 3.2L version of the flat six hiked power to 250bhp, a jump of 25%.
Naturally, as the early Boxster gets more collectible, this is the model you want. This Diamond Black 2004 facelift car looks smart, its paintwork accented by a set of five spokes behind which are a set of red calipers. The interior is trimmed in matching black with embossed Porsche headrests. It features the versatile 5spd ‘Tiptronic’ gearbox offering full auto or sequential shift options.
The car has been well maintained throughout its life and shows low mileage for the year of under 112,000 miles. At 110,000 miles it received a full service and the radiators were also replaced, a key job on these early cars.
