The Appeal
The Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster is a strikingly beautiful two-seater convertible that combines the brand's classic elegance with a more agile, modern sports car character. It features a power-operated soft-top roof that opens in just 18 seconds, and is powered by a front mid-mounted 4.3-litre V8 engine producing 380bhp and 302lb-ft of torque. This naturally aspirated unit enables a 0–60mph time of approximately 4.9 seconds and a top speed of 175mph, coming to life above 4,000rpm as exhaust valves open.
The 2007 model year introduced the Sportshift automated manual transmission with magnesium paddle shifters. Built on a lightweight aluminium VH platform, the Roadster offers impressive structural rigidity and balanced handling despite being more suited to high-speed cruising than out-and-out track performance.
This 2007 example comes to market in factory-standard specification, with the seller noting it has covered around 49,900 miles, marking a slight increase since the photos were taken at 48,845 miles. An extensive history file accompanies the car, and it has reportedly been looked after in recent years by respected Aston Martin specialist AJTECH. With its specialist servicing pedigree, honest presentation, and that unmistakable V8 soundtrack, this V8 Vantage Roadster warrants serious attention.
