The Appeal

The Defender 90 SVX was a coveted limited-edition special, produced in a run of just 300 units featuring bespoke Recaro seats, Alcantara trim, uprated steering and suspension, and distinctive black bumpers and wheels. Of those 300, only 70 were hard tops, and this example is believed to be the sole genuine 2-seater van configuration, making it a truly singular machine within an already exclusive production run.

Having spent 17 years in Hong Kong's salt-free climate, the underside is reported to be exceedingly solid. An advisory-free MOT supports this. The vendor states the vehicle is in very good overall condition, with the SVX-specific interior remaining intact and reported to be free from rips or marks. Mechanically, the vendor reports it starts instantly and drives well.

With great provenance, an original SVX owner's pack and very few examples ever coming to market, this is a rare opportunity to acquire what may be a one-of-one Defender SVX.

Was the Bulkhead behind the seats removed from new? and does it allow more seat adjustment? Can the tubular bars from the rear wheel arches be removed to allow more room? Thanks Dave....

Hello Dave, no problem at all; and yes both the bars and the brackets that fix them to the tub can be unbolted and removed if you wanted too; please see my images - I hope they help.
