The appeal
Although many regard the 997 as the last ‘classic’ Porsche 911 – not least thanks to the return of the brand’s iconic oval headlights – it certainly doesn’t lack charm. This car offers all the magic of Stuttgart, with exceptional dynamics and top-class performance, all wrapped up in a package that is both familiar and perfectly refined.
The 997.2 brought numerous improvements to an already excellent formula, notably thanks to the flat-six engine revised by Porsche, featuring direct injection, offering greater efficiency, greater reliability and subtle yet significant aesthetic changes compared to the first-generation 997. In its Carrera S Cabriolet variant, it is arguably one of the best all-rounders in the range, combining driving pleasure, performance and great versatility.
This June 2009 model immediately stands out thanks to its rare Porsche Racing Green Metallic paintwork, an unusual colour that gives it a particularly elegant presence. The seller states that the car is entirely original and has never been modified. It was purchased and serviced through the Porsche network, notably by its current owner at the Porsche Centre in Annecy.
The certified Porsche service history is up to date, with the last major service carried out in March 2026 at a cost of €1,732.
Inside, the black leather interior is well-equipped with 11 factory options. The sports seats are described as being in very good condition given the vehicle’s age, with only a few very slight signs of wear. The car has always been kept in a locked garage and comes with a complete file detailing its history since it left the factory. IMG20240224104525.jpg6.61 MB
