The Appeal
With the likelihood of another petrol-powered Jaguar coupe vanishingly small, it’s understandable why the excellent X150 is garnering increasing attention. These sophisticated, aluminium-bodied cars are excellent grand tourers and, perhaps, the last of a long line of louche, stylish Coventry GTs.
If you’re going to buy one, then really it surely has to be the barrel-chested 5L V8. And if you are, we suspect it may be difficult to find a better one than this barely used 2011 example. It has recently arrived from Japan, where it enjoyed the nation’s salt-free roads. Although, as it turns out, not that much because the mileage is just a shade over 10,500 miles.
Despite the very sparing use, the car has been properly maintained, as we document below. The last service was in July 2026 in the UK. Naturally, it presents extremely well. The popular combination of Ultimate Black with Caramel leather and walnut trim looks barely used.
Now UK registered and supplied with a lengthy, advisory-free MOT, this is a chance to acquire one of the least used and best kept X150S that we’ve seen in a very long while.
