The Appeal
Few homologation specials command the reverence of the Lancia Delta HF Integrale. Born from Lancia's extraordinary dominance of the World Rally Championship between 1987 and 1991, it's the 16-valve iteration that gets the most recognition. Its Garrett turbocharged, twin-cam engine produces an impressive 200 HP through a permanent four-wheel-drive system, all wrapped in Giugiaro's purposeful bodywork. These cars have become fiercely collectable, and well-sorted examples are increasingly difficult to find.
This 1990 Serie 831 was purchased in Belgium in 2020 and subsequently entrusted to a specialist Lancia workshop approved by both Lancia Classiche and Oldtimer for a thorough restoration. The bodywork was addressed in 2021, with the front bonnet, rear tailgate and sills repainted, and a full photographic record of the work is available alongside invoices.
Elsewhere, the car has benefited from a front suspension rebuild, a new timing belt kit, sensors, probes and alternator, along with new Pirelli tyres. Based in France and now ready and waiting for its lucky new keeper, this Integrale will no doubt garner plenty of interest at auction. DSC_7722.jpg305.7 KB
