Includes two sets of keys and original owners' manuals
The Appeal
With its narrow body, sleek silhouette and perfectly balanced layout, the 924 was beyond nimble; the perfect entry point into Stuttgart's uniquely skilled design language. When Volkswagen opted to stop producing the 2.0-litre block, though, it got a meaningful step-up - the introduction of a detuned (but still rather perky) 2.5-litre 4-cylinder from the 944's stock that offered a real pedigree character.
Presented in red, this handsome 924 S holds a current MOT with no advisories and comes supported by a service history file. It's a remarkably honest car that's ready and waiting to be driven away. A fine example of an '80s legend; perhaps one of the era's finest driver's cars.image.png1.34 MB

The vendor tells us:
"The 924 was taken in part exchange due to the most recent owner being in their 80's finding the ride too firm.
The car has been driven over 200 miles in the last week or so and the vendor can confirm the engine keeps good oil pressure at a full 5bar. The car steers and drives well with a sheaf of invoices from Porsche specialist 'Club Autosport'.
When warmed through the gearchange is notchy and slightly noisy. which is apparently a characteristic of these transverse axle Porsche and and an inexpensive fix should the buyer wish to further improve the car.
The wheels have been refurbished with new tyres fitted and a new stainless steel exhaust fitted. The trim is typically Porsche and starting to show it's age but it's basically all good.
The paint has a good bright shine but a light scrape to the passenger front wing. As evidenced by the no advisory MOT pass this 924 is a sound car with further ongoing maintenance and improvement to make the car its best self.
The car really does deserve to be viewed ahead of bidding."
