The Appeal
964-generation 911s are rare, and few are rarer than the RS, with a total production run of approximately 2,282 units worldwide for the 1992 model year. A lightweight homologation special powered by the naturally aspirated M64/03 flat-six and mated to the G50/10 five-speed manual gearbox, it stripped the 911 back to its essentials and delivered one of the most focused driving experiences of its era.
This left-hand drive example was delivered new through A-Point B.V. (OPC Amsterdam) on 24th June 1992 and spent its early life in the Netherlands, where it was maintained by a succession of Porsche OPCs and specialists including Pon's Automobielhandel, OPC Leusden, and Porsche Service VD Gugten. It was imported to the UK in early 2020 and has since been entrusted to Williams Crawford, who have carried out a comprehensive programme of mechanical work.
Beautifully presented, offered with an advisory-free MOT, and reported to be driving exceedingly well, this special 911 is ready to meet its next custodian.
