- Very rare Xantia with the clever Activa suspension set up
- Timing belt replaced 8,000 km ago
- Current Controle Technique valid to September 2027
- Entertaining 150bhp four door hatchback
The Appeal
Like a cool drink on a summer’s evening, the Xantia had just enough of Citroen’s lemon zest to be both easy and interesting to own. This car dials up the technological intrigue with its clever Activa active suspension. It was the world’s first active anti roll system, operating via a system of hydraulic rams and spheres to keep the car completely flat in corners.
The system gives the attractive Bertone-style Xantia great handling and a very smooth ride for passengers. Alongside that set up, this 1997 car is fitted with the 150bhp 2L engine. The cambelt was changed 8,000 km ago in June 2020. The car is well kept, with a few cosmetic scars to note in photos. The interior is very tidy, highly original and unmodified and looks comfortable.
With current Controle Technique to September 2027, this economical and practical rarity s ready to go.
