This very nice MGB, first registered on 11th January 1967 – so probably built in 1966 – not only looks splendid in its British Racing Green livery, but drives very well, has excellent bodywork, re-trimmed interior and recent chrome wire wheels, all of which make it a very desirable example. The car has had only three owners from new, the first of whom had the car until 1984. At this time, we understand that the car had been laid up for several years, so was duly restored between 1984 and 1992. There was then a refresh to bring it back up to scratch in 2010, including a full repaint. Constant improvement work has included seat retrim, unleaded head, and more recently, new fuel pump and starter motor. The car is very much original in specification and we have removed the wooden dashboard cover to bring it back to standard – much nicer. It drives nicely, with good performance, properly working overdrive, 3 synchro gearbox and 5-bearing engine – all in good working order. Comes with full tonneau, large paperwork file including old invoices, lots of old MOT certificates, old registration documents, workshop manual and MOT to November 2026. All in all, a very good opportunity.
