The appeal
This is one of the few cars that can rival the Mercedes-Benz Pagode SL as the most elegant convertible of the 1960s. The Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider is another masterpiece by Pininfarina. The 1600cc versions were as fast as they were elegant - as shown by this 1965 model, which is in excellent condition following extensive restoration work. Photos of the main works are available in the gallery below, along with an extensive file of invoices.
This model also stands out for its exceptional ownership history: kept for 40 years by the same enthusiast, this Giulia has benefited from meticulous maintenance, with an engine/gearbox rebuild in 2005, followed by a complete body restoration in 2011. The recent refurbishment of the interior in 2024 completes this complete overhaul of a classic car that is now in very good overall condition.
