The Appeal

The TR250 was designed specifically for the American market, where market conditions seemed to be tightening by the week during the late 60s. Effectively, it's identical to the TR5 - merely goes without the Lucas fuel-injection system and, instead, carrying a pair of twin Zenith-Strombergs. Competitively priced and nimble, the car was only manufactured for a year as a transition between the TR4 and the TR6 - but managed to still rack up a respectable 8,484 units sold.

This particular car, finished in a desirable Valencia Blue, underwent comprehensive restoration completed in August 2021. The sale includes a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate, which confirms the factory colour, chassis, engine, gearbox, interior, and more. This is a fantastic opportunity for any classic car enthusiast looking for a rare and well-preserved example of British motoring history.
