The Appeal
The Lancia Fulvia is one of the most characterful small coupés of its era, pairing a sweet narrow-angle V4 with nimble front-wheel-drive handling honed on the rally stages. The 1300 variant, mated to a five-speed manual gearbox, remains a thoroughly enjoyable car to drive, wrapped in one of the most attractive silhouettes of the 1970s.
This 1976 example has benefited from considerable recent investment, headlined by a bare metal respray in its original silver, subsequently ceramic coated. Structurally, the car is reported to be in good order, only a rear wheel arch required replacement during the restoration, while the underside needed no welding. The previous registered keeper owned the car for 30 years, storing it inside throughout that time. The vendor states the car drives very well, though a few minor interior and detailing jobs remain for the next owner to finish.
