THE APPEAL
The Fiat Coupé is considered today one of the best recent sports coupés available. Conceived, designed and built by true enthusiasts, the Coupé was born with the precise aim of restoring prestige to the Fiat brand, mostly associated with small utility cars, reviving the glories of famous Fiat sports cars of the past such as the 124 coupé, the Dino and the X1/9.
This particular Coupé, fitted with the lively 1.8-litre 16-valve engine shared with the Fiat Barchetta, was purchased by the current third owner in 2017 and kept in his private collection, not being driven but being regularly started to maintain its efficiency.
For this reason it has not been submitted for technical inspection in recent years.
The car is in good aesthetic condition, with an intact and rust-free bodywork with some small surface scratches and a well-preserved interior.
Original and unforgettable, the Fiat Coupé has been recognised since new as a future classic.
This fairly presented example in need of simple routine maintenance and a little exercise could prove to be an intelligent purchase, which will allow its future owner to acquire a car of great charm.

Purchased by the seller in 2017, this Coupé has been kept in his private collection ever since and has not been MOT tested in recent years.
However, the car has always been kept in good mechanical condition.
It will be delivered with its original plates and updated documents.

The welcoming and well-finished interior designed by Pininfarina is equally original and full of references to the past, with a body-coloured metal strip on the dashboard in which large circular dials are set in front of the driver.
Surprisingly practical, the Coupé offers a rather large boot and four comfortable seats, with good accessibility to the rear bench.

The innovative and original bodywork was initially penned by Chris Bangle and finalized by the Centro Stile Fiat team and was full of references to classic models and typically Italian stylistic elements, with round rear lights and an aggressive front with sinuous polycarbonate headlights.
The wedge-shaped line, with a low nose and high tail, the sides cut by taut lines starting from the fenders and the forward leaning of the passenger compartment give it a dynamic and unmistakable look.
THE MECHANICS

The cooling system has been overhauled, although before driving it on the road, the seller recommends replacing the timing belt and rear shock absorbers and performing a thorough maintenance.
