The Appeal
Mustang – the name alone conjures up mental images of sweeping curves, endless highways and road-trips accompanied by that iconic V8 burble. It’s the ultimate expression of classical Americana, and remains a hugely popular machine even outside of the US.
This late fourth generation car is presented with low mileage, in a handsome specification and with a hearty V8 powertrain. So it offers the looks, the power and the noise you’d expect from a Mustang, together with the ability to drop the top when the sun peeks out. If a fun, charismatic convertible is on your list, then this has to be worthy of your consideration.

The Interior
- Handsome black leather upholstery shows well, with some light creasing and gentle wear, but no notable damage
- Black carpeting presents nicely, with no threading or staining apparent
- Practical 2+2 cabin layout offers plenty of room for luggage or occasional passengers
- Electric windows and door mirrors

- Radio with 6CD changer
- All of the trim and switchgear looks to be in good order, with nothing missing or significantly worn, as far as we could see
- We’re told by the vendor that everything works as it should, with no faults or issues reported
- The boot is generous for a convertible, trimmed with dark grey carpet and also contains a spacesaver spare wheel
- On lifting the boot carpet, we can see that the boot floor and wheel well look to be in good condition, with no damage or corrosion we could identify
The Exterior
- Subtle silver paintwork, overall in good order with a few minor chips and blemishes, but no major scuffs or damage on show
- We did not that there seems to be a colour difference on the passenger side rear quarter, presumably from where the car has been previously repaired
- The bodywork looks to be straight and tidy, with no notable corrosion or damage to be seen
- Electrically operated black fabric roof, working as it should and looking to be in fine fettle other than a two-inch tear on the driver’s side
- We did notice a little bubbling to the metal roof frame and latches
- Upgraded headlights
- The passenger side rear light is cracked, while the driver’s side rear light appears to be scuffed and misting up
- The rest of the external trim and badging all appears to be present, correct and sound
- Underneath the floor and sills look to be straight and undamaged
- We did not quite a bit of surface corrosion to the drivetrain components – although we believe this to be mostly cosmetic as everything appears nice and solid
- A full set of ‘Torq Thrust’ style alloy wheels are fitted, finished in gloss black and appearing to be in fine fettle with no kerb damage or lacquer peel in evidence
- The wheels are shod with a matched set of tyres

Summary
The chance to park a legend such as the Mustang on your driveway is too good to miss. This unmodified, handsomely specified car looks to be a fine, solid example.
