The GS650 GT is Suzuki’s answer to the Yamaha FJ, with years of refinement and small incremental changes that really added up to a whole. The GS is a heavy bike, but with plenty of power with 73bhp coming from the 4-stroke inline four motor. A good sizeable amount of torque makes this a very useable bike day to day, and makes a great tourer or summer cruiser. The big comfy seat and sturdy rear handle is perfect for a pillion or tying down luggage. The GT variation gets a shaft drive for an extra level of capability and is fantastic for touring, due to it’s low maintenance and hassle free life.
The one we have here is in great condition. The black and bright chrome colour-way gives this a muscular and sleek look. It sits very poised, with a twin cradle tubular frame, and twin shocks to keep the bike planted. Everything combined made the GS a very capable all-rounder that has more weight on the touring aspect.
What you get is a fantastic bike, put together very well, and one that has plenty of life left in it. It is mid-mileage and has a few signs of wear, but is mechanically sweet and would be perfect for someone who wants a classic look bike, but still wants to be able to use it.
