A fantastic, innovative car of its time, and at almost 30 years old, becoming very rare and collectable. I believe that 169 of these remain registered in the UK and 78 are apparently SORN. This one must be one of the most desirable with only 56, 900 mls from new. Having had the same owner for 28 years and the first owner adorning the car with reg. №. KHD 1, has ensured that this has been a well-cared for vehicle. As the car has been garaged for some time I have fully serviced the vehicle, including the timing belt which had been changed previously at 55, 389 mls, in 2015. I also replaced all 4 tyres and have had the car MOT’d (12 months). The car has electric windows, sunroof and mirrors, central locking, (manual) memory driver’s seat, ABS, 4 wheel steering with a crisp, lively 2. 0 litre, 16V engine producing 150bhp. It is a nostalgic engaging drive. I’ve used the car for around 800 mls and have had many positive comments including “what’s that?”.
The car is very honestly presented. Underneath the car is structurally very sound, which most that know this model will know is rare. It appears the car was heavily undersealed from new. Below the bonnet is very good and in the boot is immaculate. The tool kit is complete, the spare wheel has not been used and all original documentation, including the original bill of sale are present. The service book has not been fully stamped up. There was a third-party warranty on the car and this carries a few service stamps. There is approx 2 - 3 services not recorded, but i am assured that they have been carried out and knowing the owners of the car from new, I expect that to be true. The bodywork is starting show some signs of ageing.
