It offers an extremely rare opportunity to own a true full powered UK version (not to be confused with the restricted Japanese imports) of this legendary 2 stroke iconic Yamaha. The bike has been maintained to an outstanding condition and is supplied with a file full of documents that include the original Yamaha hand book, original bill of sale from 1985, original parts catalogue, original sales brochure, magazine article and a host of supporting MOT's. This iconic 2-stroke, was at the forefront in the 1980's as one of the must have GP replica bikes. Yamaha looked at the success of the YZR500 and realised that a road-going version of this would sell well. The RD500LC YPVS was bred from the ground-up to be a race replica, and it was absolutely focused in its mission. Everything was lightened and stripped down for performance.
