Chassis number 24131649D.
V5 registration document up to date and present.
Tax and MOT exempt.
It is MOTd until Jan 2020 anyway.
This Land Rover has not been messed around with and has a lovely feel about it.
It has only had 5 owners in 52 years the last for 6 years.
It has covered 13, 662 miles since 2005 as per the MOTs but only 500 miles in the last 5 years!
Excellent chassis in sound order.
Sound footwells which have been patched over the years.
Bulkhead generally very sound with only the bottom of the door pillars needing work in the future but not immediately.
I love the paintwork and would leave as is!
Bodywork generally very straight for a 52 year old Land Rover.
Excellent tyres all round.
The 2. 25 petrol engine starts immediately and sound good.
New middle and rear exhaust.
It drives as you would expect i. e. noisy and slow but puts a smile on your face!
Everything appears to work incl wipers and heater motor.
The winch is rather special and is a period piece (1967) manufactured by Mayflower and it is powered by a power take off from the gearbox. It will be very useful for logging and pulling yourself out of the mud. On its own it is worth around £650.
Perfect for logging/ kids/ dogs etc.
Original bench elephant hide bench seats on the back.
A great rolling project you can improve over time and use immediately.
Great to have the tailgate and catflap at the rear so you could put a canvas roof on with little trouble if you wish.
Can be viewed off Junc 14 M4 Near Hungerford Berkshire.
Transport can be arranged throughout the UK.
