1950's Chevrolet 3100 pickup truck,
Have been debating for the past two years wether to finish it or to sell, but i dont have the time.
* Original colour was red but painted over with plastic style paint that power washes off,
was not keen on the green but love the red, super patina
* UK registered with number plate assigned
* Engine axle & gearbox believed to come from a 2 door saloon, which would have been column change gearbox, now converted to floor change
* Chassis in excellent condition
* 6 Cylinder engine, Engine runs & sounds lovely,
* Have full width bench seat that does require recovering, at present has 2 period sports style seats
* Ton of parts bought from BROTHERS USA, Cab repair corners inners & outers, not necessarily all needed
* 20 inch wheels with 2 extra tyres. Spare set of 20 inch wheels
* Retro air cleaner (oil bath type) NOT FITTED
* Holly carburettor new, electric fuel pump
* Twin exhaust manifolds, rear exhaust pipe (one) NOT FITTED
* New - glove box, wing to body seals, windscreen rubbers, door hinge kits, inner door handles, door rubber seals, - NOT FITTED
* Aluminium lowering blocks (vehicle presently lowered via brackets - to be welded onto axle) NOT FITTED
* Genuine supplied by BROTHERS lowered shocks all round - NOT FITTED
* New brake shoes all round - FITTED
* Wheel studs recut to ford thread
* New style front wheel bearings - FITTED
* Rear springs re bushed, new hangers - FITTED
* Bushes for front springs - NOT FITTED
* Transit throttle pedal - FITTED
* Sealed beam conversion - FITTED
* H7 headlight bulbs - FITTED
* Re Wired
* Electric fan, thermostatic control in top hose - FITTED
* Radiator recored - FITTED
* Jackhammer electronic ignition conversion - FITTED
* New distributor cap, plugs, leads & coil - FITTED
* Fuel tank & filler - NEEDS ADAPTION & FITTING
* New bonnet hinges - FITTED
* New rear valance with numberplate recess - NEEDS FITTING
* New front flexi brake pipes - FITTED
* Front kingpin overhaul
* Spare front axle & random spares
* Alternator conversion
* Starter motor has been overhauled
To drive will need rear axle locating & propshaft altering.
Carburettor needs connecting to throttle cable.
Rear brakes finishing.
Fuel tank fitting.
Rear lights.
I recon 40 hours work to complete.
Had over 6 years but just cant find time to finish.
