PUC 611R was registered on 14th October 1976 making it Tax and MOT exempt.
Chassis number 91616234C making it a Home Market RHD diesel 109"
I believe it was Ex AA or Post Office Telephones as it has been painted in Yellow previously!
Last owner 15 years and it was used infrequently as a shoot wagon so not MOTd as used on private land.
Mileage is showing as 81328 which is probably genuine but I have no proof.
Chassis will need welding at the rear but the front is remarkably good.
Bulkhead needs work but very saveable.
The great thing about this Land Rover is the originality.
It has not been bodged over the years or modified.
Body is very straight apart from the drivers wing which is dented but salvagable.
The 2. 25 diesel engine fires up well and all gears engage.
Would be rather fun to return it to Golden Yellow as you don't see many about.
All complete with hoop sticks for the canvas.
Great fun for kids/ dogs/ logging etc!
109's have not survived in the same numbers as 88" as they seem to get abused much more.
Will make a great restoration project.
