MGB Roadster in lovely condition both mechanically and cosmetically. Fantastic combination of Old English White (Cream), Red interior with White piping and Black convertible roof, and to finish off chrome wire wheels.
Previous owner of 10 years lovingly kept this car in tip top condition with MOT every year including 2018 (still valid). Serviced every year with the last one carried out in July 2018 at 48982 miles. Mileage now recorded is 49115. Used in the dry for local shows and days out. Only sold as owner was using less and less as the years caught up. The MG was restored circa 2010 and has stood the test of time very well. The bodywork and paintwork are excellent. The inner wheel arches are body coloured and underneath is very good with waxoil protection. There is
the addition of a period badge bar on the front with period chrome spotlights. The MG owners club badge will remain. There is a full centre zip tonneau cover included. The Black convertible roof is the 3 window type and is in excellent condition and folds down with ease.
The chrome wire wheels with correct 2 eared spinners are in good order and are shod with all matching Pirelli 3000 radials which have not covered many miles. There is a jack, mallet and spare wheel in the boot. The boot space is very clean and is fully carpeted.
The interior is excellent in Red with Cream piping and matching Red wool carpets. All the switches and original Jaegar dials appear to be functioning as they should. There is a period wood rimmed Motalita steering wheel with centre horn push. This MG has the overdrive option with original dash mounted switch and functions perfectly.
Mechanically the car is excellent. Oil pressure is spot on and a constant mid temperature is achieved when out on the road. The car handles well when out on the country roads and feels nice and tight and responsive. The car brakes as it should. All electrics have been checked also and appear to be all working fine. Recently electronic ignition has been fitted for peace of mind.
Though restored some 10 years ago this fine Roadster with its desirable colour combination has been lovingly kept in great condition. Ready for a new owner to enjoy and be the custodian of.
