Ford escort mk3 1. 6 cvh - 1982 in diamond white.
MOT, comes with stacks on paperwork, odd spares with the car. Car is very clean for its age isn’t immaculate but it’s an honest true car.
Since ownership of the car I’ve had it fully resprayed, rs1600i alloys put on which have been refurbished/ some marks on them now though. New steering rack with track rod ends, bottom arm. New alternator with belt, starter motor. New Mtec grooved and dimpled discs and pads, new callipers. Braided lines all round. New master cylinder. New Bosch battery. New engine mount. Battery tray is original and no holes, spare wheel bay all good.
In the past it’s had a engine rebuild and new timing belt with water pump. New fuel pump, re faced flywheel and new clutch. Twin choke carb with k&n filter. Manual choke which has been renewed, xr3i manifold and exhaust system. Springs and shocks all good. Good tyres all round. Fully polybushed
Interior is tidy for its age, no rips in the seats or holes in the parcel shelf. Sony xplod Stereo with alpine speakers. Dashboard is cracked which is common with these, steering wheel centre cap broke.
5 speed gearbox with fresh oil.
Been recently serviced, with new spark plugs, leads all good. Runs and drives, could do with re tracking after new track rods and steering rack.
