1991 BMW 735i SE - 2 OWNERS, LOW MILEAGE
One of this weeks fresh arrivals is this magnificent Calypso Red E32 735i SE . A fantastic looking car in this period colour with a contrasting natural leather interior.
Just 2 private mature owners from new with the most wonderful service history I have seen on a car for a very very long time. All the books are present including a well stamped service book, there are four keys and the original remote control for the optional period audio system that is fitted. Every single bit of paperwork relating to the purchase and maintenance of this car has been kept from day one and has been catalogued accordingly - every individual invoice having its own little plastic wallet in the ring binder! Every MOT has been retained as well as the invoice for each fastened to the reverse!! Recent highlights include a new viscous fan and radiator. The customer even had a new battery fitted on the day he part exchanged it as he thought it was getting a bit lazy! - who does that nowadays. It really is a proper gentleman’s car that was also owned by a proper gentleman!
As you would expect it drives without fault, the 3. 5 straight six being the pick of the range in my opinion. Gearbox changes ratios beautifully and both the economy and sport modes engage exactly as the should. There are no lurking mechanical or electrical nasties and I would welcome any inspection.
The interior has stood the test of time incredibly well, the car has been garaged most of its life so the trim has not been exposed to lots of direct sunlight, highlighting the fact that there are no dashboard, plastics or leather cracks and everything looks and smells just as it should. The interior really is a very nice place to be.
The body of the car is incredibly genuine and original and shows no signs of any poor previous paintwork. There is some stone chipping to the front end (only very light and shows originality) there is a light graze on the flat spot of the passenger front wing as well as a mark on the nearside lower valance where the chap has caught it on the edge of his garage door. There is only a very small piece of corrosion on the car which is around the edge of the drivers side wing, there is of course the odd car park “dink” which a pointless dent technician could easily remove. This is a very smart car overall I am just pointing out any shortcomings as I do like to describe all of my cars correctly.
Viewing is essential to appreciate the calibre of this vehicle.
Nationwide delivery is available nationwide @ a cost of £1. 50 per mile (one way only) We are also able to collect buyers from a nearby railway station if necessary.
Thanks for looking
