Description
1976 Daimler Sovereign 4. 2 LWB Series 2 Saloon , 61, 000 recorded miles with just 2 former keepers , SUPERB original example with no signs of the normal rust seen on many examples . The paint finish is very good and inspection of the underside is welcomed being free of any major corrosion . The interior is again original with contrasting Cinnamon coloured interior , No sagging head lining and the wooden dash fascia is superb . Its been converted to a manual choke so it starts very well . On the road the automatic gear change is smooth and the torque converter quiet . The oil pressure maintains very well and the temperature gauge stays a 12 o clock . Braking is excellent and straight . I have a soft spot for the Series 2 and I think when these cars are right they are a joy to drive as this one is . The Sovereign is supplied with extensive history from the original sales invoice .
