Description
Suzuki GS650G Katana - 1981. Originally for Japan and imported to the UK in 2002, the bike has covered 17, 000 miles. The speedo has been changed from a KMH unit to an MPH, I have the original unit to confirm mileage is correct (it has done approx 300 miles on the replacement speedo). The extremely annoying speed light that flashes at 50mph has been disconnected. The bike runs and rides as it should and even the gear indicator is fully functional. The original tool kit is under the seat, the gear selection light works correctly, it has the original exhausts which are in good solid condition and there is a genuine Suzuki hand book, an English one not Japanese!
The bike was repainted by Dream Machine a few years ago and the previous owner has done some minor renovation, including painting the engine black. I am aware this is not how the bike was originally, however the bike is not being sold or priced as concourse.
It also benefits from a new rear tyre, new brake pads, fresh Silkolene semi synthetic oil and genuine Suzuki oil filter, a brake fluid flush and a new MOT. The bike is ready to ride.
