For sale is this 1995 Lotus Elan S2 M100 Special Edition no 481.
12 Months MOT
The car is finished in Calypso Red with magnolia leather upholster. Having spent the first 5 years
on the Isle of Man it was first registered in the UK in 2001.
With the car comes a fully documented history from 1995. Showing service history
MOT's and improvement upgrades. All the necessary belts etc have been replaced when needed,
the last service was carried out at 73200 miles.
Amongst the upgrades are fully adjustable shock abosbers on all four wheels, a short shift gear kit giving a much improved and more precise gear change, New Toyo Tyres, Piper Stainless Exhaust
and a wind deflector, please see photos.
This is a lovely car and drives and performs as a Lotus should, it has obviously been well maintained
throughout it's life and this shows in it's overall excellent condition.
Details of previous Reg numbers and ownership transfers are attached. One owner (handwritten) was only short as covers the period the car was loaned by "Paul Matty" to EVO Magazine for an article exploring the best Front Wheel Drive Cars. A copy of the magazine is included in the History.
The car is in very good overall condition with a good leather interior. Paintwork is solid with only the usual gravel rash to the lower front end. Underside is solid, having had waxoyl applied to the chassis and POR-15 to the suspension components.
Genuine reason for sale. My circumstances have changed and I am just not getting to use her as often as she deserves (200 miles last year).
