MGB Roadster- January 1974-Glacier White with Oxblood Red interior and Hood. With some nice upgrades by known classic restorer.
The White paintwork and bodywork are very good and the overall look with Oxblood interior and matching hood and tonneau and Chrome wire wheels is just classic and always popular. The Chrome exterior parts are all very good and shine well. The Glass all round is excellent and free of scratches as are all light lenses. The Oxblood 3 window hood is as new and folds up and down with ease. It has the zip out rear screen.
The chrome wire road wheels including the spare are very good and really suit the car. They are shod with all matching Firestone radials which haven’t done many miles.
The boot space is fully carpeted in Red and remains immaculate.
The interior is also immaculate. The Oxblood Red trim is pretty much faultless. The original seats are very comfortable and have been rebuilt with new foaming etc and remain in great shape with very little wear. The dash is all standard and in excellent condition with all gauges functioning correctly. There is an addition of a battery charger plug for ease of charging.
The car performs very well and sounds great thru a stainless exhaust. Also this MG is faster than standard thanks to some nice engine upgrades completed by specialist. A new stage 3 head, stainless exhaust manifold, MGOC recognized Webber conversion with correct inlet manifold. The distributor is an uprated one. An electric thermo activated Kenlowe fan has also been installed. The 3k invoice is in the history file for this work. The engine bay is very clean.
This roadster was valued and sold for the now asking price some 14 years ago, a copy of that bill of sale is also in the history file.
A really nice Roadster in a classic combination that performs really well. Ready to be enjoyed and at a great price.
