The car is a 1981 VW Golf N, which is the base spec car fitted with the original 1100cc engine and four speed gearbox - something which is not seen often in show condition! There are only around 68K miles on the clock, backed up by a large history file containing many old invoices and MOT Certificates etc.
The car was fully restored and resprayed in VW Manila Green around 6-7 years ago, inside and out whilst also having the interior all fully retrimmed including having new carpets, boot liner and headlining fitted. The underneath of the car is solid and undersealed. The only extremely minor defect in the paint is a few very small scratches on the N/ S/ R quarter panel - This is me being very picky due to the fact it is a show car! The wheel arches are all sprayed with body coloured stone chip paint.
The car is fitted with KW V1 Coilovers which are worth around £1000 alone and has SSP Porsche Fuchs style wheels fitted. The engine bay had all seam sealer removed when the car was resprayed to create a smoother finish, and the engine bay is now in amazing condition and draws a lot of attention at shows!
The car is currently fitted with a roof rack and has over riders fitted to the bumpers. However, these will be removed and not included within the sale.
