Description

1952 Riley RMA

Despite becoming part of the Nuffield Organisation in 1938, the Riley models that followed immediately after the Second World War were to remain true to the Riley ethos.

Designated 'RM' Series, the new cars were available in 1. 5 and 2. 5 litre forms, both being class leaders and offering an exceptional level of road holding with their rack and pinion steering and independent front suspension.

They were also particularly elegant, with sleek up to the minute styling and a high level of equipment.

In the hands of its present owner for almost 30 years, this Riley RMA is a late example of this series having been registered on the 1stMarch 1952.

Whilst in the present fastidious owners care, an extremely detailed list of maintenance, repair and improvement has been logged.

Strikingly finished in Black and Ivory with red interior trim, with exceptional paintwork, this Riley presents extremely well.

There are numerous bills showing the car has had much care lavished upon it.

Among the documentation is a Buff RF60 log book dating back to 1963.

After so many years in this current ownership the car is only being offered to sale, very reluctantly, due to the recent acquisition of a pre-war, 6 cylinder Riley.
