For sale is a Riley 12/ 4 Special from 1937. The vehicle was rebuilt in England during the 1980s over a five-year period into a race car and completed in 1990. As a basis, a modified Riley-12/ 4 Falcon chassis, rebuilt to Sprite specifications, was used.
As part of the build the car received a 2. 6-litre Riley Pathfinder four-cylinder engine, paired with a four-speed manual gearbox. In the early 2000s the Riley was brought to Germany and was purchased in 2003 by the current owner. Under his care the vehicle has been continuously maintained and further improved.
Since 2003 the Riley has taken part in numerous events, including repeatedly on circuit events such as the Nürburgring and Hockenheim, as well as hill climbs and various drives. The car is in technically impeccable condition.
